your pose looks nice, the way your having him stand on one foot maybe you could give him more ark in the back and have his hips tunred more towards camera, hope it helps =D
Hey Kolby! Really love the idea here :D I agree with Yevan about arching the back, cause right now it's pretty rigid. The other thing is that his left hand silhouette could be stronger. I like how he's hunching his shoulders. Good work :D
A really good expression :) He's definitely surprised. I especially like the amount of heel rise. it's just the perfect angle!~~
Few things I noticed are that his right foot rotations feels very broken, in relation to where the knee is pointing. Also the lines of left arm, and both legs are very parallel to each other and I think what you want to do is to let their orientation lead the audience eye to the face of the character. And we can't see what he's reacting to, but I think you could try to make his pose more focused to or away from this thing that surprised him. For example , with his right arm, he could hide more behind it from that "thing" [protective, more scared version of surprise] or more opening this space area so that the arm angle is a bit more going around the head and making him more curious. That way this gesture could be a bit more defined in terms of emotion. But you know, it all depends on what's exactly the feeling you're after :)
Great stuff. And I didn't say that yet, but it feels very natural and organic. :)
